The son of the king got sick in the middle of winter, and the doctor told him he needed to get some wild nercessus so he'll get cured. They published the story to all the kingdom, "Who ever could find a wild nercessus will be rewarded."
The step of a little girl heard the news and forced the child to go to the mountains and find some wild flowers, for the kings son. She soon found her self in between 12 old men, and each man represented a different month. When she told them the reason why she was there, they helped her by using there magic. First came mister January then February followed by March, all the way untill she got a handfull of the flowers. When she retured to the kingdom, they asked how she got flowers in the middle of winter. And she ended up telling them the story. When the king's son went to the mountains with the little girl and saw the 12 men he asked them how the little girl got the flowers and they repeted the same steps for him as they did for the girl.
