What kind of flower is this?

Sorry, the photo's been edited a bit.

They're very small flowers, and the petals are a vibrant blue. The little veins/stripes/whatever they are on the petals are a bluish-purplish color. The flowers grow on a stem that grows straight out of the ground; the tallest ones I've seen are only around 6 inches high. As far as I know, they're wild (I live in the woods, very near a river) and they spring up on the same patch of ground every year. They bloom from March/April to June (this is a rough estimation).

If you need any more info, let me know.

Thanks! =)

Nice editing on the shot :)
Reply:It looks like a type of geranium, but I'm not sure. Where are you located, that can narrow things down.

Edit: Ok, found it. It's creeping speedwell, also called creeping veronica. It's Veronica filiformis, which is an introduced species.
Reply:They are Blue Flax
