i put the above out for the birds in a little seed cage ,they are wild sunflowers but the birds just flung them out now the edge of my lawn is covered with little plants ,will they all flower in time or just be a green stem ? lancs,uk

I USE BLACK OIL SUNFLOWER SEEDS WHICH ARE LABELED SPECIFICALLY FOR BIRDS AND THE BIRDS LOVE THEM BUT THEY DO MAKE A MESS. THE SEEDS WILL BLOOM IF YOU LET THEM AND ARE QUITE PRETTY. IT DEPENDS ON IF YOU WANT THEM. A LITTLE WEED AND FEED WILL GET THEM.
