Like, some songs like, "Pickin Wild Flowers", I think its stupid that city people like to sing those songs, even though they have never been "down at the railroad tracks".
Does anyone else think its stupid that people that live in NY like country music?
i think it`s stupid that people ANYWHERE listen to country, let alone city-dwellers...just my personal opinion, but i LOATHE country music!!!

Reply:people can like whatever they want. just because you like a type of music doenst mean you have had to experience it. people who like rap dont have to live in a gang area, people who like country dont have to live in it, people who like rock dont have to be stoners.

Reply:No it isnt stupid, country music isnt limited to farmers, rednecks, hicks and country bumpkins. People around the world can relate to any type of music including country and should be able to listen to whatever they want without being criticized as a poser or wannabe. Maybe they enjoy that country lifestyle but never got to experience, maybe country music is their way to experience it. Welcome them aboard, if it weren't for a lot of city people country music might not be as popular as it is today.
