Action Replay DS question?

I just got AR ds. I have only used it 4 Animal Crossing Wild World ds. It works fine except 4 1 thing. I tried 2 add a code from codejunkies.com 4 ACWW hybrid flowers, then in my code manager software I clicked on "quick update" after clicking yes I wanna update my AR it said "file cannot be opened". What have I done wrong? Can u help me plz? It's the US version. I have contacted Datel the company that makes AR, but they won't return my phone calls, or emails. Plz help.
