CONSIDER THE LILIES
Consider the lilies
In your journey through life
They no of no mysteries
Of hard labor and strife
They just are
Growing wild
In the fields by the hundreds
Unconcerned for mankind
Are we learning a lesson
From their flowering light?
To accept our condition?
Just to be?
To turn our heads to the sun
And fold gently at night?
Will you please "Consider The Lilies"?
that's great Jesus would love this poem
Reply:You may be treading on a copy right violation in your title. I thought I recognized the title as a poem written by Ian Smith. I did a web search on the title and came up with at least a half dozen items using this title including a famous painting.
You have issues with your offering: spelling, grammar, timing, meter last but not least punctuation.
This is not to say your effort is not worthy of notice. You must learn from your mistakes and keep on keeping on.
Good luck.
