Ojibway or Native Legends that deal with a Wild Flower?

An Ojibway Legend tells of a little Ojibway girl lost outside during a bitterly cold winter. Searchers found a Lady's Slipper blooming in the snow, where the little girl was last seen. Thus the Lady Slipper became the model for the Ojibway Moccasin. The Cherokee Indians made a herbal drink from it's roots to treat worms.
